DARTMOUTH REGATTA ROAD RACE

Dartmouth AAC have been organising and hosting, the ever popular, Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta Road Race, in liaison with the Regatta committee each August since 1980. The Annual pilgrimage for many, attracts runners from all over the West-country, and some from further afield who now plan their holidays to coincide with the race.

For 2026 we are pleased to confirm that the race route will return to the original Redlap loop. The course will again start and finish at the iconic Dartmouth, Boatfloat. It will go through Dartmouth Town, out via Newcomen Road, up Weeke Hill and back using the Redlap Lane loop.

The race distance is 5.1 miles.

Online entry to close on the Tuesday 25th August 2026.

On the day entry will close 1 hour ahead of race start time on the race day at 2pm

Venue Facilities: STRICTLY NO PARKING for the event. There is limited parking in the town centre so it is recommended to use the Park and Ride. There are public toilets at Coronation Park, The Royal Avenue Gardens and Market Square.

DARTMOUTH REGATTA TENNIS TOURNAMENT

This unique event takes place in Coronation Park and is made up of two parts.

The Closed Tournament – has events for all standards for local players and runs from Friday August 21st to Sunday 23rd

The Open Tournament – is graded as an LTA Grade 4 (County level) tournament and attracts competitors from far and wide and runs from Monday 24th to Saturday 29th August. Details available on LTA website LTA website

The tea tent is open all the way through, and you are welcome to drop by even if you are not a tennis player or fan!

DARTMOUTH REGATTA SWIMMING GALA

Saturday 22nd August 2026 10am

Arranged by Dartmouth Swimming Club at the Dartmouth Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool

The tremendous combined efforts of the Dartmouth Swimming Club and the Dartmouth Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool committees have ensured that the traditional start to Regatta week provides a fun event for all the family with 25m, 50m and 100m and relay races on offer. Additionally, some of the best silverware in Regatta will be on offer for the winners!

DARTMOUTH REGATTA DARTS

Dartmouth Regatta Darts Competition is back at the Dartmouth Yacht Club in Dartmouth 🎯

Monday 24th August and Tuesday 25th August 2026

Mens and Ladies singles will be held on Monday 24th £3 per player.

Mens ladies and mixed doubles will be held on Tuesday 25th £5 per pair.

All need to be signed in by 7:30pm both nights.

Each player is asked to bring a draw prize please where possible.

DARTMOUTH REGATTA GOLF TOURNAMENT

Wednesday 26th August 2026

The Dartmouth Hotel Golf and Spa

This is an individual mixed Stableford competition held on the Championship Course, with a handicap allowance of 95%. Scores will be eligible for handicap purposes.

Prizes will be awarded to the top six competitors, regardless of gender. Men will play from the blue tees (6,173 yards, par 72, course rating 71.3, slope rating 130), and ladies will play from the red tees (5,702 yards, par 74, course rating 73.8, slope rating 131). Maximum playing handicaps are 28 for men and 36 for ladies

The entry fee is £43 for visitors and £20 for members. This includes the competition entry, a twos sweep, and prizes for nearest the pin and longest drive.

Entrants can sign up to a tee time to be able to enter playing partners but this with be converted to a shotgun start at 1105 a week in advance of the competition.

All entrants must have a Handicap Index and provide their national Membership number (CDH ID) for handicap verification.
