SPORTING REGATTA 2024

DARTMOUTH REGATTA ROAD RACE

Due to road damage the 2024 race route had to be modified. The course starts and finishes by the Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC) main entrance. It will go through Dartmouth town, up Newcomen road and back using Above town road. Victoria Road all the way up to the top entrance of the BRNC and run within the College. Gravel tracks and short sections on grass will be used within the College grounds.

The race distance is 4.5 miles.

Online entry to close on the Friday 30th August 2024.

On the day entry to close at 2pm on race day.

Venue Facilities: STRICTLY NO PARKING at the Britannia Royal Naval College. There is limited parking in the town centre so it is recommended to use the Park and Ride. There are public toilets at Avenue Gardens and Market Square. Family, Friends and Supporters will NOT be granted access to the Naval College grounds.

DARTMOUTH REGATTA TENNIS TOURNAMENT

This unique event takes place in Coronation Park and is made up of two parts.

The Closed Tournament – has events for all standards for local players and runs from Friday August 23rd to Sunday 25th

The Open Tournament – is graded as an LTA Grade 4 (County level) tournament and attracts competitors from far and wide and runs from Monday 26th to Saturday 31st August.

The tea tent is open all the way through, and you are welcome to drop by even if you are not a tennis player or fan!

DARTMOUTH REGATTA GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Dartmouth Hotel Golf and Spa

This is an individual Stableford competition on the Championship Course with a handicap allowance of 95%. Scores will be acceptable for handicap.

There are separate prizes for men playing from the blue tees (6173 yards, par 72, course rating 71.3, slope rating 130) and ladies playing from red tees (5702 yards, par 74, course rating 73.8, slope rating 131).

The entry is £43 per visitor and £20 per member which include the competition entry fee, a twos sweep and nearest the pin and longest drive prizes.

Entry with payment is available online with tee times running from 1005 to 1455 (subject to change depending on the pattern of entries).

Entrants must have a Handicap Index and provide a national Member number (CDH lifetime id) to enable Handicap Index verification to take place

DARTMOUTH REGATTA TSWIMMING GALA

Arranged by Dartmouth Swimming Club at the Dartmouth Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool

The tremendous combined efforts of the Dartmouth Swimming Club and the Dartmouth Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool committees have ensured that the traditional start to Regatta week provides a fun event for all the family with 25m, 50m and 100m and relay races on offer. Additionally, some of the best silverware in Regatta will be on offer for the winners!

DARTMOUTH REGATTA DARTS

Dartmouth Regatta Darts Competition is back at the Dartmouth Yacht Club in Dartmouth 🎯

Monday 26th August and Tuesday 27th August 2024

Mens and Ladies singles will be held on Monday 26th £3 per player.

Mens ladies and mixed doubles will be held on Tuesday 27th £5 per pair.

All need to be signed in by 7:30pm both nights.

Each player is asked to bring a draw prize please where possible.
