HMS MERSEY
Launched in 2003, HMS Mersey is the youngest of the original three batch 1 River Class offshore patrol vessels.
The Ship has a dedicated Ship’s Company of around 50 personnel under the Command of Lieutenant Commander Daniel Wardle, she plays a key role in the UK’s maritime security, delivering presence, reassurance, and operational effect around the clock.
RAF A400M
Mark your calendars for Thursday 28th August, when the skies above Dartmouth Royal Regatta will be graced by the impressive Royal Air Force A400M Atlas.
The A400M Atlas is the RAF’s highly versatile transport aircraft, capable of both tactical and strategic missions. From delivering humanitarian aid to supporting frontline operations, it showcases the very best of modern aviation engineering and the exceptional skill of the Royal Air Force crews.
With its sheer size, striking silhouette, and unmistakable roar of four powerful propellers, the Atlas always makes a dramatic impact during flypasts. Don’t miss it – listen out for that iconic sound as it approaches at 15:45!
South west sea cadets
The Band of South West Area Sea Cadets brings together talented cadets from across the region, representing units right across the South West of England.
Coming together several times a year, the band trains, performs at public events, and takes part in parades. she plays a key role in the UK’s maritime security, delivering presence, reassurance, and operational effect around the clock.
