KONTIKI RAFT RACE 2025
Can’t wait to get back in the water with all that silliness? Then grab whatever is to hand and start building your raft for the legendary Regatta Kon-Tiki Raft Race.
This event is for fun and it is obligatory to enjoy it! So please, only enter if you are up for a good old fashioned belly laugh of a morning.
ABOUT THE RACE
There are 3 class for the event; Children, Family and Adult. There will be trophies for the fastest crew and best-dressed raft and crew in each class. Spaces are limited so don't delay, start your planning now!
The race will take place along the South Embankment with rafts being launched and recovered at the Boat Float.
The race Is kindly sponsored by Dartmouth Higher Ferry!
Conditions to Enter
A raft can be crewed by 2-10 People. Competitors must be at least 6 years old on the condition that they can swim.
Teams that have equal or more children than adults will be in the Family Category
If there are more adults than children, the raft and crew will be in the Adult Category.
Initially, there will be 30 entry slots (10 Per Class) and will be granted on a first-come-first-served basis.
Please complete the entry form below and return it to us by Post/Email together with a Cheque/BACs Payment made payable to ‘Port Of Dartmouth Royal Regatta’.
The entry fee is based upon the numbers of people on the raft as follows:
2-4 Person Raft - £15;
5-8 Person Raft - £25;
9-10 Person Raft - £35

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Should any of the rafters be considered by the Race Director to be unfit to enter the water due to alcohol consumption, I accept that the raft will not be allowed to participate in the event.
