| Picnic In The Park The Regatta are pleased to announce that for the third year the Committee have decided that Dartmouth's premier black tie event will once again be a PICNIC in the MARQUEE. The PICNIC in the MARQUEE will be held on Tuesday 26th August, 2008. The Regatta have been extremely lucky to have been able to book 'ALPHA CONNECTION' an 8 piece Dance Band with a massive repertoire of music, playing Big Band - RatPack - Rock - Soul - Latin and Salsa. The Band includes an ever popular brass section. Alpha Connection have played at 2000 venues World wide. Many Sporting Venues, Henley Regatta, the Olympic Sailing Association, Valderamma Golf Club, Emirate Stadium and Old Trafford Stadium. Also at the BBC Television Centre, Granada Studios, Highgrove, Windsor Castle and the Albert Hall, to mention just a few. The Regatta have managed again this year to retain the same price for tickets as last year, i.e £30 per ticket. Alpha Connection will be supported by Charlies Mobile Disco. Tables can be booked for 8 - 10 -12 people. Guests are invited to bring their own food and drink, and to dress tables in any theme they wish. Tables will be supplied with table cloths and glasses. For those wishing to purchase drinks at the event, there will be a full bar selling alcholic, non alcholic and coffee supplied by the Royal Castle Hotel. Doors open for guests at 7.00 pm.
