| Rowing Events One of the Regatta's most popular events is the Rowing. The Friday local rowing programme comprises events in Whalers, and "Blue" Boats, these boats are owned by the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, and were given to the Regatta by Organisations and Local People. The WEARA events at regatta are extremely popular with local rowing clubs. We have Eights, Fours, and Pairs fighting it out over the testing course. Dartmouth Rowing Club |  |

Sailing Events Races are organised under the Burgee of the Royal Dart and Dartmouth Yacht Club. Sailing headquarters are the Royal Dart Yacht Club on the opposite side of the river at Kingswear. Racing takes place mainly in Start Bay and attracts entries from all over the country. Over 200 craft of different sizes, from Yachts to Dinghies compete in over 15 events.
