Entries are invited for the 2013 Local Rowing events which will be rowed in the Regatta Committee’s whalers and ‘blue boats’.
The events open for entry are:-

Happy Families Pair-Oared Race
Men’s Championship of the Dart
Ladies Championship of the Dart
Men’s Long Distance Whaler Race*
Ladies Long Distance Whaler Race*
*Each of these races are restricted to seven entries on a first come, first served, basis.
Entry to the following races is restricted to Public Houses and Hotels eligible for membership of the LVA within the following Parishes – Dartmouth, Blackawton, Dittisham, Kingswear, Stoke Fleming, Strete and Tuckenhay:-

Ladies Licensed Victuallers Whaler Race
Entry in the Scouts/Guides Championships should be made through the relevant Scout/Guide Leader at the Dartmouth Unit.
The 2013 Local Rowing programme will be:-
Practice Week: Monday, 19th – Friday, 23rd August inclusive
Heats: Sunday, 25th August
Semi-finals and Long Distance Whaler Race finals: Monday, 26th August
Finals: Friday, 30th August
The entry fee for the open rowing events remains at £2.50 per seat and will apply to all adult entries, that is, all rowers over the age of 16.
Whaler entries- £10; Pair-Oared entries- £5; Championship and Double Scull entries- £2.50.
Entries from Public Houses and Hotels eligible for membership of the LVA are to be made on a separate form which will be delivered to each establishment and will be subject to a one off entry fee. There is no charge for coxswains or for the Long Distance Whaler Races.
A condition of entry is that crew names are attached to the Entry Form. Please read the Local Rowing Directions.

The Local Rowing draw for positions and boats will be made at Dartmouth Amateur Rowing Club on Sunday, 28th July, 2013, commencing at 5.00 p.m.
