The all-dancing family fun night that was the Regatta Shindig was such a success last year that it’s back with a vengeance for 2013.

After taking a gamble and putting on a show aimed at families last year, the Regatta Committee is pleased to announce that Mrs Crotty’s Ceilidh Band will be playing their amazing dance music and teaching you the steps to all the traditional dances once more. And because the dancing was definitely the favourite part, the band will play for the whole evening.

If you were there last year you’ll know that the children managed on many occasions to show their parents up when it came to the dancing! So this year, it’s the parents’ time to get their own back.
We have two callers, so learning the dances will be a lot quicker and you’ll learn even more than last year.

Adding to the fun will be a Bucking Bronco. So kids, don’t forget to bring a camera and catch dad flying off into the arena!

Doors open at 6pm and the last dance is 10pm. There will be a ram roast and bar to keep you sustained.
