Every now and then a band comes along and shines so brightly that you can’t get enough of them. So the Regatta committee, against its usual brief of bringing different bands each year, has decided to bring back a band that wowed everyone at the Regatta Ball in 2011.

Back For Good is a Take That tribute that is so close to the original band that it’s impossible to tell them apart if you close your eyes. And when you open them, they are such a great looking bunch that it really doesn't matter that they aren't the real thing.

The vocals and dancing are superb. In fact when you read the biographies of each band member they have all had an amazing career in music and performing arts taking leading roles in top stage shows. Tony Lewis, who plays Robbie Williams, even won a TV show to become ‘The One and Only Robbie Williams’!

To ensure that such a brilliant band is fully appreciated, Regatta has even produced a special night to present them. Regatta Night Out, which also presents Mitch and Mace – the local duo who wowed us all at Regatta Rock last year and Three Bags Full – the young local band set to be the next biggest thing - will be held on Wednesday 28 August in the Marquee on Coronation Park.
