Despite the rain we drew good size crowds between showers and were well supported by people far and wide, especially with the emphasis on young musicians from local schools.
As designed, this event was to help showcase young musicians and to involve local schools.
We had stunning performances from local artists: Antonia Suner, Harry Quick, Naiomi Rider, Tom, A&E and Storm
Whilst we engaged Dartmouth Academy and were privileged to have Naiomi Rider (15 years old!), who was simply mesmerising, various changes at school level meant we could not have a full complement of musicians this year.
In terms of the smooth running of the event, thanks must go to Andy Roe for electrical support, Jeremy and Andrew Brimblecombe PAS and Matt Pink for the Supply of ALL equipment and sourcing the majority of the events participants.
After a successful day this year and a keenness by all who participated and those that came to watch, this event would grow in popularity for not only being a truly diverse and unique platform for young musicians, but an event that would draw a wide following young and old.
